disappearing...

It bugs me when someone deletes a post that I've been watching, without telling anyone why. I always end up wondering... was it something I said? Of course, from there, I decide that if what I said bothered them so much, they must be the sensitive ones. And since I'm only guessing, there's no reason I should start walking on eggshells around them (not to mention the fact that this is probably not a good idea in any case). So then I wonder if I'm going to do it again, and what this person thinks of me.

So please be kind to my mental health and don't delete your shit.

Rule number one: don't question my paranoia.

So there! ;-)

Sure, when there's no more internet!

If I delete something, it has absolutely nothing to do with you.

..unless I delete one of your comments and that's all I delete, but you'd have to be pretty amazing to get me to do that considering some of the comments I have not deleted in the past.

But I never ask you questions, so I probably wouldn't think it was my fault. ;-)

There was this one time...

I asked a question in someone's post. She didn't answer. So a few days later, I nudged her about my question. Then she deleted the post. I think the episode affected me.

And anyway, I only have one rule, LJ-wise. That is, if you cause me sidescroll, I have to remove you from my friends page, and that annoys me, and I might accidentally forget to replace you for a couple of weeks. rule number two is your LJ-cuts annoy me.

So those aren't really very rule-like, are they? ;p

Ooops, I'm taking things to personally, aren't I?

[identity profile] ravengirl.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
*gasp* you're blaming ME, aren't you!
...or you just like to ::hear:: my gasping.
meanie. :P

[identity profile] ravengirl.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
so you remove dave often, no? ;) i have to sometimes! all those people who post huge pictures that i love to see, i can't handle it at home on our dial-up, so i have to use a different filter at home than i do at work.

...what do you mean MY lj cuts annoy you! huh? man, you are one mean dude. *snort*

[identity profile] low-delta.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
What, did you do that to me too? Jeeze, you people!

[identity profile] low-delta.livejournal.com 2006-01-28 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish there was a plural form of "you" and "your." No, that was just the rules, not a comment directed at you. You take things so personally! ;-D

No, I don't think I have to remove Dave. He posts lots of big (file size-wise) pictures, but he always sizes them appropriately. It's usually new people, who don't have any imaging software, who post the really huge pics. I removed someone recently, and I forgot that she was gone, for about two weeks.

I kind of prefer that people put lots of pics behind cuts, but it's not a huge deal. As for over-cutting, there are a couple of people on my friends list who cut any post that's over eight lines long. I'm not sure why they do that.
