Santa Monica Pier

I have lots of pictures. I'd like to post them all, but I can't. What was it... 444 photos? And most of my best pics are on film, which is at the store, waiting to be developed. But I'm sure I can come up with some representative shots.

Awesome. Did you wander through the 3rd Street Promenade?

Did you check out Venice Beach and my roller skating pals on the Boardwalk?

I look forward to your photo selections!

No, we had too much to see that day, and too far to go. We pretty much just walked down Pico Boulevard to the water. Then over to the pier, out and back, and then back to the car.

We went through the carnival with the rides and the games, and out on the pier past all the carts selling stuff, and the artists and performers trying to earn a few bucks. And the carousel was cool.

Nice - I love the way the water "impressionizes" the amusements.

this is a nice choice.
I ran into the same thing with the roadtrip. I think I managed three posts and then fizzled out, faced with the sheer volume of photos we took.

Yeah. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures like that. It's wet sand, though. You can see the waves at the far left, by the pier.

Oh. Yeah.

And September, October and November would all be from Chiricahua. "Uh, Kevin? Didn't we see this one before?" :-D

I have so many that are very similar to the others. That makes it hard too.

oh, same here. and it's hard to get folks enthused about the amazing clouds in wyoming unless they're right there, where you're so high it seems you could reach up and touch them.

that would be high in elevation, not high from mind-altering herbs or chemicals

lol. i'm having fun with my project. i'll send you a sample by email. any preference as to address?

It did seem, when I was in Colorado many years ago, that the clouds were much closer.

R says the picture is pretty. I agree.
