wake up, dammit

I woke up this morning, on my own. No alarm. It seemed late. It was. My alarm had gone off half an hour earlier. It comes on at 6:45 and goes off an hour later. By 8:15, I had no recollection of hearing it. Not a trace. I know I'd have remembered, because I can't remember what kind of music WMSE plays on Tuesday mornings, so any little glimmer would have reminded me, but I slept through it rather soundly.

Your body was probably trying to tell you it needed the extra rest. I just hate the panic phase when you realize you're late for work!

And I didn't panic. I might've only been ten minutes late if I had. As it was I was an hour late. >:-(
