These systems where you're supposed to speak your preference rather than punching numbers bother me. Two reasons. First, the voice which directs you is way too informal. I say the word, "cancel," and the voice comes back with a happy, "okay." There's no reason for either of us to be happy, so let's just stay professional. Second, after taking two minutes to tell them what I'm calling about, the voice pleasantly infoms me that I'm being transferred to an operator, who asks me what I'm calling about.
