I don't really consider myself a fan. I'm more of an afficianado (sp?). I can see that he is, or was, a brilliant artist and that's about the extent of it. I own Born to Run and Darkness on the Edge of Town, but I still need both on cd. Greetings... is important to any fan of modern music because it was so extensively covered and I'm kind of sentimental about The River as it came out at a point where I was young and susceptible and I've always come from a river town. It's a little mythological for me, so I keep it close to my heart. Still haven't had to buy it yet... But I probably will soon.
As for the Macarena question...well, craze dances are for the young and intoxicated and I've been both. Why not dance if everyeone else is? You look sillier sitting it out.
