Yeah, I'm a pretty hardcore gaming geek. The group I currently play with I've been playing with for about three or four years, in some incarnation or other. Friday, Sunday and Tuesday. There have been a few people that have come and gone, but the core group has remained intact.

Actually Champions just came out with a new book. I think it was last year, but it may have been the year before. The guy that runs the game had an old copy when we started and he is a super hero nut so he had the book memorized. Essentially, he was our book. Then the new one came out, I think they renamed it, but it is the same game. I love Champions. It is one of my favorite games. I love the characters you can create and where you can go with them and there is nothing like getting to roll fifteen dice **sound of thundering dice**. YEAH!!

When we play White Wolf mostly we play Mage. We've never done a Vampire game. I would like to run one sometime, but I would run it like a tabletop game. We play Mage at the table. There is a lot of dice rolling in Mage because of the magic and the way it works so we play it like D & D with none of that "live-action". I have to admit that I like it that way. As much as I love Vampires I don't really care for the game and there seems to be a certain type of gamer that it attracts to it that I frankly can't stand.

I'm a freak and it's okay, **whispers** I'm not dangerous **grin**. I think it's a great way to socialize without watching the television. I get so tired of the media and the way it comsumes our lives that gaming in some way is like a return to our roots of storytelling. I love it. I am lucky enough to have a job that affords me the time to play. See geek...hopeless geek. I also roleplay on-line. Well, that's really roleplaying through writing and art, but still roleplaying.

I've never played Chill or Paranoia. I would like to though. I love to try out new systems. I have a lot of old M.E.R.P.S. stuff and it's really weird. I wanted to run a Tolkien based game (before the new system came out) and the M.E.R.P.S. just didn't cut it so I converted it all over to D & D. It was a pain, but it works and it doesn't seem to be too unbalanced. Now I'm just rambling...
