A lot of the Maquiladora jobs have gone to China. Something really has to be done to allow the yuan to fluctuate. It's pegged artificially low at a fixed exchange rate versus the dollar and is not traded in the currncy market. This is not free trade. I would like to see Mexico (and the US) without having to compete with the depressed wages in China.
