please be careful with other people's businesses

Last fall when our company was sold, someone filled out the paperwork incorrectly. They put our name down as "...Industries, Inc." rather than "...Corp." Don't ask me how they screwed that up. Now we have to reprint all our literature and business cards, and update the website, and all that crap.

Getting a company's name exactly right is crucial here too.

Is Company abbreviated or spelled out? Corporation? Inc.? Periods? Commas?

We weren't suposed to be changing. We were a corporation, so somebody filled out the transfer paperwork with "Inc.," rather than "Corp." The really baffling part is the "Industries." Where'd that come from?
