m: "Clarify exactly who is getting fired?"

d: "Like I said..........whatever the hell that means.

Obviously they don't have a plan, much less a clue. Whatever knee-jerk reaction prevails at the time will determine our future.

From what my supervisor tells me they've changed their mind many times in the last 2 weeks. Two weeks ago they had our chairs picked out downtown. Now we might stay where we are, we might still be eliminated altogether.

What they're probably going to clarify is that they really haven't decided yet. Heartless dumbasses pretty well sums it up in my estimation."

I say start repeatedly calling your office from other phones prtending to headhunt yourself and various coworkers. Maybe that will make them think twice about "rearranging" you all.

I'll call him every fifteen minutes or so, and tell him to say, "I'm sorry, I can't take calls from headhunters while I'm at work."

Of course, if they think he's in demand, they may just want to get rid of him, so they don't have to pay him more.

Actually, they're just so clueless, they wouldn't know he'd been getting the calls.

Incompetent cluelessness. The only defense is to either wind them up, point them at someone you don't like and watch them go, or run away....far far away...Sounds like your pop doesn't have either option at the moment. *Rrrr.*

On the light side, I read the time traveler thing in anarchy, and put in somthing short and funny--it's called, "Let's do the time warp again:)" Just for a change of scenery:)
