My first userpic is number 20,574.


My latest one is 1,894,592.

Soon they will be starting a random assignation to userpics.

At the moment, LJ does not delete userpics. this means that if you upload a picture to LJ and delete it from your list of userpics, it is still on the servers and you can link to it - if you saved the address.

i also ran through a lot of userpic numbers. a whole bunch come up not available. wonder why.

The pics get deleted, but there's a huge cache somewhere to save database reads. That only gets cleared very occasionally.
