forced relaxation

I'm not feeling much better than I did yesterday. My throat is still bothering me, and I still feel weak. Cindy just left to go see Joe Bonamossa at Summerfest. He was pretty high on my list of people to see this year. I hope I'm up to going tomorrow to see American Standard and maybe Midnight Oil.

Today I:
LiveJournaled
watered my houseplants
took a shower
ate food
read more of Fellowship of the Ring
played computer soliaire and Mah Jong
watered my flowers

That's about it. That's not really much, but then I haven't even been up for eight hours. I didn't get out of bed until 11:00. This was one of those totally relaxing days I can usually only dream about. I wish I'd had just a little more energy, so I would have had a better pick of relaxing things to do, but oh well. Reading was the best part. I got two more chapters read. That leaves two, and I'll be done. I might even get The Two Towers read before the movie comes out.

My tasks for the rest of the night are to take the laundy in off the line, and water the flowers in back. I might read some more or watch a movie. Or both.

Update:
I watered more flowers, took some clothes off the line, and got some custard. Then I spent the next hour and a half online.
