Pretty much because they don't have to. It's nearly impossible to go without Microsoft product. They know they can do just about anything they want. At least I don't have Hotmail. Unfortunately, Yahoo isn't a whole lot better.
well, i think they do care about your business.....in as much as they can collect demographics, etc.....but you're right, they don't care about YOU.....personally
i use some MS products, basically, the Office suite....they have become standards in the world....(in this day, most users don't know what vis-i-calc is or was)
