Very sweet.

Comfortable, heated leather seats, six-way power, with power lumbar support. Comfortable foot placement. No back seat, though, with a tall person in front.

The exterior is kona blue, which is a deep metallic blue, with a purple sheen. The interior is "charcoal". Shiny silvery rims. No gas cap - the gas door seals the filler.

I haven't decided what color I want the dashboard and ambient lights. There are seven colors to choose from for the gauge faces, the gauge background, and the ambient lights (floor, door handles, cup holder, Mustang logos in doorsills). With two colors on the dashboard, It's hard to come up with the best combination. Right now I've got purple with ice blue. In addition to that, you can program your own colors. Not combinations, actual colors.

My phone is sync'd up, and the car has voice activation so I can call people hands-free. When I took Cyn for a ride tonight, we got locked out of the house, so I called my mom, to see if she could give us our extra key. I pressed the voice button on the steering wheel, and said, "phone. Call. Linda." And it dialed. :-) She wasn't home, though, so we had to drive down to the dealer, and get the garage door opener out of my old car. Speaking of garage door openers, I was disappointed that one wasn't built into this one, like Cyn has in her car. And there's no good place to put the opener, like there was in the old Mustang.

It's got a nice sound system. Shaker 500. That's 500 watts. Heavy bass response, and it doesn't even have a subwoofer. It's got AM/FM/Sirius (free six month trial), single CD player, auxiliary jack for the mp3 player, and a USB port for a flash drive. You can play the flash drive using voice commands.

Did I mention it has 305 horsepower? It's a six cylinder. That's more horsepower than the 2003 Mustang GT (V8) model had. Of course, it's almost the same displacement. It's very fast. I'm going to have to get used to driving at a very relaxed pace. Even when I'm in a hurry. It's got way more power than I need. I've broken the tires loose from the pavement. Never did that with the old V6. I had to hit the brakes at the end of the on-ramp, to get back down to a reasonable freeway speed. It has too much power for the winter. Snow tires will be required.

Its gas mileage is 19 city, 30 highway. Thirty miles per gallon on the highway! Too bad I don't do more highway driving.

Fords are very highly rated in quality, these days. It's got a three-year bumper to bumper warranty. I don't remember having any trouble with my last one, except for some sound system noise. And they just keep getting better.

If you want one, you'd better move quickly. The dealers weren't allocated very many, by Ford, and factory orders have to be in by December 2nd.
