I think the biggest part, for me, is all the things that aren't getting done. Everything else goes on hold while I work on the kitchen. That's one reason I took Labor Day weekend off, from these labors.
But in general, all the little things add up. I just spent $400 on LED lighting, and even more on a ceiling fixture (that I should have ordered weeks ago), and I felt nervous after sending the order, that I got the right thing. I never feel nervous after a purchase. And I feel very stressed out after the drive home from work. That's a little out of the ordinary.
