vintage jackets

My mom had these jackets. One of her brothers (Jimmy?) brought them back from Asia in the 50's, when she was a teenager. At least three of her brothers were in the military. All Navy, I think. He could have landed anywhere, so I'm not sure where they came from. The first one looks Japanese (the mountain like Mt. Fuji, though they don't have tigers there), and the second one is Chinese.

I love this embroidered silk one. Too bad it's so faded. She must have worn it a lot. Where the blue remains unfaded, it's so brilliant.

The inside has a map of Japan and Korea.

This one is more of a... tunic? It's lined. My niece is taking these jackets. She doesn't like the tassels, so is going to remove them - one is already gone.
