long weekend

Saturday morning I did a little gardening, then we drove to Indiana for dinner. Marswalker hosted a memorial or reunion of Lynda's friends. So we got to see him and the kids, plus Sue & Robert, Donna & Manolo, Sharon and a few others. That's always good.

Sunday I spent all day at the Highland Games. It was fun. Always a good time. And there was sun and whisky, so I think I got a bit dehydrated. I was really beat in the evening. We tried watching some Star Trek, but I couldn't stay awake. Oh, and I didn't sleep well the night before (after getting to bed late).

Today I mowed the lawn in the morning. My mom and sister came over in the afternoon. We'd gotten cornhole boards for my mom for her birthday (made by a coworker of Cindy's), and they arrived last week, so we played a few rounds. Apparently I'm not very good at it.

And gaming this evening.

It should be obvious fairly quickly in a game like cornhole if you are good or not. I will give you a hint: if you get it INTO the hole, that is a good thing. *grin*

That was a busy weekend. What time did you and Cyn get home on Saturday night? It was so good to see you two again.

I've never been able to play games like that well. My distance judgment sucks.
