procrastination

It was sunny and 75°. The nicest day in a couple of weeks. And the only day without forecast rain. As I was getting ready to mow, I noticed dark clouds in the south. Sure enough, a line of storms came through. Now it's wet and gray. The forecast says we had a 4% chance of rain this afternoon. Maybe I'll have another chance to mow on Tuesday.

I remember one summer when I was living in Manitoba, the weather was the shites. Friday at 5 pm, the clouds would roll in, and it would rain all weekend. The week I took vacation, it would be sunny for a couple of hours in the morning, then the clouds would roll in, and it would rain. It absolutely sucked! Hopefully, you get a better summer.

Manitoba really wanted to get rid of you, huh?

We're close to Lake Michigan. All month it's been cool and damp. Foggy, often.

Last weekend, it was 65° outside, and not much warmer inside. And grey and damp. I was dressed in my usual layers, and grabbed coat when my friends came to pick me up. When we got to where we were going, ten miles inland, it was sunny and 80°. They gave me a hard time about my attire. :-)
