I give mccain a little slack on not giving program details because I know it's hard to do that in two minutes or less, etc.
I didn't expect him to go too nasty, because it's a bad strategy for the candidate him/herself to do that. it gets people feeling negatively about the candidate if they say a lot of mean things. That's why traditionally the VP is the "attack dog," not to mention all the third party groups.
