I once drove by a dentist's office and his name was Dr. Payne.

My dentist in HS was Dr. Pain.. he live next door to us.. I loved him dearly as a man, but he was a CRAP dentist!

Oh that's even better. Spelled out as PAIN.

The maxilofacial surgeon who removed many of my teeth (including the wisdoms) was... Richard Petty.

Not the race car driver. But... his father!

You've got to be kidding.
That's so weird. Could he only remove teeth by rotating them to the left?
Was he fast?
Did he have to make a pit stop?

Not kidding at all.

They lived about a mile up the hill from us.

He had a lot of chrome stuff in the exam room, and air powered tools...

When he was working on your teeth, did the smell of gasoline and burned rubber waft?
Did he have a bunch of people rush you and do all of the jobs all at once?
Did they jack up the chair you were in?

[identity profile] marswalker.livejournal.com 2007-08-17 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
No... just Novocain and burning teeth. And pliers.

The chair did all the dental things - up, down, tilt, all that good stuff.

I don't know how he feels about racing though, he only ever talked to me about the teeth he was about to pull.

Huh. He was the boring one in the family.

Just like that kid in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...

"I want to be a Dentist!"
