anniversary

Cyn and I went to Chicago for the day. We went to the Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park and dinner. Walked over five miles. The Aquarium was pretty cool, but more expensive than I expected. I imagine it's an expensive place to run, though. The park was nice. Dinner was very expensive. Very good, but way too much money.

Note to self: (1) Buy tickets ahead of time, for the aquarium. (2) All of the restaurants are *north* of the river.

(Sorry we didn't get together with our Chicago friends. Maybe next time.)

Where did you eat? There's a great Thai place called Amarit...http://www.amaritthai.com/

We ate at Smith & Wollensky's. A steak and seafood place. We'll keep an eye out for Amarit, the next time were there. There are a lot of places to eat there, though. That district, north of the river, seems to have nothing but restaurants.
