The Na Pali Coast

This was an amazing place. Just about the only way to see it is by air or by boat. We chose air. Next time, we'll take the boat. I didn't get very many pictures that show it well.

Did anyone see the helicopter in that one? Right in the center.

That white spot in the whater is a boat. Didn't see anyone in the water. And that's not a road, it's a beach.

You get to see the waterfalls up close from a boat. Also, the dolphins follow, and the big sea turtles are clearly visible in the water. It's a lot of fun.

Canon Rebel XTi (an SLR). Some of the pictures I've posted were taken with our old Canon Powershot S400, but all of these were from the Rebel. And Photoshop.

Cyn!

I didn't get very many pictures that show it well.

How can you say that??? The fourth picture down in particular is breath taking.. the rest are "merely awesome"!

[identity profile] ravenfeather.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
*confused*

Wait.. Cyn didn't post these? You did? I am too old for computers!

*grin*

[identity profile] low-delta.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks. Yeah, I got the hang of it. I'm still disappointed that you can't do Curves by color, but it makes up for it by doing saturation by color. I just wish you could step backwards... Nevermind - ctrl+alt+Z. Same as in Photoshop. I'm good!

[identity profile] low-delta.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Cyn linked to my post. :-)

And I didn't get many - there are only these six! :-D And there's so much more there to see.

Still Vinnie, the fourth one down.. the cathedral, that ONE is worth the trip photo wise in my opinion. How many in their lifetime gets to SEE something like that? I mean really, as earthbound as we are.. it must be incredible from the ground, but from the air.. wow!
